since 2007, marie knight has worked out of a small studio in the asheville, north carolina river arts district. when she's not chained to a lab bench or watching audrey hepburn movies, she combines flattened, distorted, embellished, and scaled-up representations of all manner of life forms with scaled-down signmaking to make arresting and occasionally nerdy graphic art.
